Jubilant Stocks Rise After Block Deals to Fund Coca-Cola Deal
The Bhartia family, who own the Jubilant Group, sold off some shares in their companies on June 13.
This caused the prices of these companies to go up a bit.
This happened because the family wants to buy a big part of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, which is the company that makes Coca-Cola in India.
Selling the shares helped them raise money for this purchase.
This led to some of their shares being traded in big chunks, and this caused the prices to go up a bit for the shares.
Shares of Jubilant FoodWorks and Jubilant Ingrevia saw a rise on June 13.
The increase followed large block deals.
The deals are attributed to the Bhartia family offloading stakes to fund the acquisition of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB).
Jubilant FoodWorks rose 2.5% following block deals.
Jubilant Ingrevia surged over 11% due to block trades.
