Awarapan 2 Advance Booking Crosses 1.30 Lakh Opening Day Tickets
A new Bollywood movie called Awarapan 2 is coming out soon.
It stars Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani.
Many people have already bought tickets even before the movie opens.
More than 130,000 tickets have been sold for opening day.
People expect the movie to earn lots of money on its first day.
The first Awarapan movie came out in 2007.
That old movie did not earn much money and was called a flop.
Awarapan 2 might earn more on its first day than the old movie earned during its whole time in theaters.
Emraan Hashmi has not had a big hit in 14 years, so fans are excited.
Another movie called Batwara 1947 opens on the same day, so the two movies will compete.
Advance booking for Awarapan 2 has sold more than 1.30 lakh tickets for its opening day.
Day one pre-sales stand at Rs. 4.08 crore gross without block seats and Rs. 6.56 crore gross with block seats.
Early estimates predict the film will collect around Rs. 15-18 crore on day one, with trade expecting a double-digit opening.
Awarapan 2, reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 45 crore, will clash with Sunny Deol's Batwara 1947 on August 14, 2026.
The 2007 original Awarapan earned around Rs. 12-12.25 crore gross worldwide and was a flop; Awarapan 2 may surpass that on day one.

Box Office Prospects
Optimistic View
Strong advance booking of over 1.30 lakh tickets, pre-sales of up to Rs. 6.56 crore gross, and a trailer that grabbed attention point to a bumper Rs. 15-18 crore opening that could surpass the original Awarapan's lifetime collection on day one.
Cautious View
The teaser and songs received mixed responses, and critics gave mixed reviews (Free Press Journal rated it 2.5 stars), so the final result depends heavily on reviews and word of mouth over the weekend.
Emraan Hashmi's Comeback
Optimistic View
After 14 years without a clean hit since Raaz 3 (2012), Awarapan 2's strong pre-release buzz could mark the perfect box office comeback for Emraan Hashmi.
Cautious View
Since Raaz 3, many of Emraan Hashmi's films flopped or were only average grossers, so advance booking alone cannot confirm a comeback until reviews and audience word of mouth arrive.
