Naidu Pitches Data Centres as North Andhra’s AI Jobs Engine

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said North Andhra should grow through industries, investments, and technology.

He said Anakapalli would become an important industrial and knowledge-economy centre.

The government plans to build an industrial township over 10,000 acres.

It also plans to open a centre to teach young people skills needed for jobs.

Naidu said several data centres could create many artificial-intelligence jobs.

He said all the proposed data centres would need about 3.5 TMC of water.

He promised to bring Godavari water to Anakapalli and fill its ponds with Polavaram water.

Naidu also criticised the previous government and defended the recruitment and examination processes under discussion.
