Woman Found Dead in Mira Road; Constable Husband Arrested
A woman named Swati Chate was found dead in her home in Mira Road.
She had been married for just seven months to a police constable named Prabhu Chate.
The police think that Prabhu and his family might have caused her so much sadness that she took her own life.
Swati's family says that Prabhu used to drink a lot and didn't listen when she asked him to stop.
They also say that his family made her feel very unhappy, especially when she went to help with her sister-in-law's pregnancy.
Both families tried to solve their problems, but it didn't work.
Sadly, Swati told her mother she would hurt herself, and when Prabhu came home, he found her.
Now, the police have arrested Prabhu and his family members, and they are in jail until December 3.
Swati Chate, a woman married for seven months, was found dead in her Mira Road home.
Her husband, Prabhu Chate, a police constable, and his three family members were arrested for abetment to suicide.
Trouble in their marriage began a week after the wedding due to Prabhu's drinking habits and Swati's requests for him to stop.
Swati faced mental harassment from her in-laws, including suspicion and constant distress during her sister-in-law's pregnancy.
Both families attempted to resolve the couple's disputes, but Prabhu continued drinking, leading to Swati's tragic decision.
