The Defence Ministry is pushing for developing these rockets in India and has signed contracts for more ammunition and upgrades.
Indian Army proposes to acquire 120-km range Pinaka rockets worth Rs 2500 crore.
Current Pinaka rockets have ranges of 40 km and 75+ km.
