Rain Industries Shares Jump Amid Oil Surge, US-Iran Tensions

Rain Industries is a company that makes industrial materials and cement.

Its shares rose by more than 4% as oil prices climbed.

Oil prices increased because tensions between the United States and Iran raised concerns about supply disruptions.

Brent crude was near $93 a barrel, while another oil benchmark was near $86.

Rain Industries also reported strong financial results for Q2CY26.

Its revenue, operating profit, and profit after tax all increased from the previous year.

The carbon and advanced materials businesses performed particularly well.

The cement business earned a small operating profit but had lower revenue.

An analyst said the shares could rise further if they move above ₹218 with strong trading volumes.
