Bangkok Designer Finds Spiritual Peace on Narmada River Journey
A designer from Bangkok, Thailand, who used to work with fancy brands like BMW, has decided to leave all that behind.
She is now walking along a very special river in India called the Narmada.
She believes that true happiness isn't about having lots of money or fancy things, but about being simple and praying.
Even though her family moved to Thailand a long time ago, they still celebrate Indian traditions.
She even runs a school where kids learn about old Indian books.
Another doctor joined her on this walk, and together they are learning about spiritual things and how people live in villages.
She says the simple dust of the river has given her more peace than all the foreign luxuries.
Bangkok-based designer Hurra (Hardevi) Tanwani, aged 50, has begun a spiritual pilgrimage along the Narmada River.
Tanwani, who previously worked with global brands, seeks peace and happiness in simplicity and devotion.
Her family, though now in Thailand, maintains strong ties to Indian traditions and festivals.
She is joined by Dr. Mansi Jadhav, a dentist from Pune, on this journey.
Locals and devotees have welcomed Tanwani, with some expressing pride in seeing foreign individuals embrace Indian culture.
