MCOCA Court Denies Bail To Jail Guard In MD Case
A prison guard named Balu Chavan was arrested in a case involving illegal drugs.
Police say he helped a prisoner named Faiyaz Shaikh run a drug business.
The prisoner was staying in a jail in Solapur.
Police say Shaikh used Chavan's mobile phone to talk to another person.
Some money was also sent to Chavan's bank account.
Police found a secret place where the drug MD was being made.
They found a very large amount of the drug there.
Chavan asked a judge to let him go free.
But the judge said his story was not believable.
So the judge said Chavan must stay in jail.

The Mumbai Crime Branch booked Chavan after busting a manufacturing unit for MD, a banned narcotic substance, in Satara.
On December 8, 2025, police arrested Salim Shaikh and Rayees Shaikh in possession of 74 grams and 62 grams of MD, respectively.
A December 13, 2025 raid in Savari village, Satara, led to the seizure of 7 kg 518 grams of finished MD and 38 kg 820 grams of the substance kept for drying.
The court rejected Chavan's bail plea, noting Rs 45,000 was transferred from a relative of the accused into his bank account.
