Kota railway division leads with 100% punctuality on August 8

Trains are like very long buses that travel on metal tracks and carry people between cities.

In India, a huge train company called Indian Railways runs thousands of trains.

The company checks whether its trains arrive on time at their stations.

On August 8, 2026, many of its divisions did very well.

A division is a group of train routes and stations managed together.

India has 74 such divisions, and 23 of them had more than 90 out of every 100 trains arrive on time.

The Kota division did the best, with all of its trains arriving on time, which is 100 percent.

The Kota division was created on April 1, 1952, and belongs to the West Central Railway.

It looks after more than 90 stations.

Arriving on time matters because passengers can plan their trips and reach their destinations as expected.
