Fifteen Indian Stocks Offer Higher Dividend Yields Than FDs
Dividend stocks to buy: HCPL, Coal India among 15 stocks with higher yields than FD rates in FY26 · businesstoday.in

Some Indian companies paid dividends that were larger than the interest offered by certain bank fixed deposits in FY26.

A dividend is money a company gives to its shareholders.

Majestic Auto had the highest dividend yield on the list, at 16.8%.

Jagran Prakashan and Premco Global also had high yields.

Several other companies had yields between 6.3% and 8%.

Selected fixed deposits from SBI, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank offered about 5.9% to 6.3% for some terms.

However, dividends can change and share prices can fall.

The figures show income yield, not a guaranteed total investment return.
