Telangana BJP Chief Accuses Congress Allies of Undermining Election Institutions

Telangana BJP leader N Ramchander Rao accused Congress and its partners of spreading wrong information about voter lists.

He said Rahul Gandhi and other leaders were misleading people about forms used to register voters or object to names on a list.

Rao said sending in an objection does not by itself remove anyone’s vote.

He said election officials must investigate and give people a chance to be heard before deciding.

He added that voters can appeal or register again if their names are removed by mistake.

Rao also defended electronic voting machines and criticized Congress’s comments about election officials.

He accused AIMIM of benefiting from fake votes in Hyderabad, but the report presents this as his allegation.

The article does not include responses from Congress or AIMIM.
