NEET Aspirant's Death in Patna Hostel Raises Sexual Assault Concerns
An 18-year-old girl who was studying to become a doctor died in Patna.
At first, the police said she took too many sleeping pills and had a sickness called typhoid, and there was no sign of any bad touch.
But later, a doctor's report said that bad touch might have happened.
The girl's family said she was hurt and touched badly, and they think the police are hiding the truth.
People protested, and the police arrested the owner of the place where the girl was staying.
The police are still looking for more information to find out what really happened.
An 18-year-old NEET aspirant died in Patna on January 11 after being found unconscious in her hostel room.
The post-mortem report submitted on January 14 stated that sexual violence cannot be ruled out.
Initial police claims that medical reports and CCTV footage ruled out sexual assault were contradicted by the post-mortem findings.
