Telangana HC Directs Research on Elevator Safety Guidelines
The Telangana High Court has asked a person named Advocate Barkat Ali Khan to research and suggest guidelines for making lifts and elevators safer in Telangana.
This is because there are no proper laws yet to ensure the safety of lifts.
The court is worried because there have been many accidents recently, with people getting hurt or even dying.
The government has been thinking about making a law called the Telangana Safety Elevators Act since 2015, but it hasn't been made yet.
The court wants to make sure that lifts are safe to use until the government makes this law.
They will talk about this again in four weeks.
