Rajasthan heavy rain disrupts life; Jhalawar schools shut

Very heavy rain is falling in Rajasthan, India, and it is causing problems for people.

One place called Sunel got more rain than anywhere else, about 300 millimeters in one day.

The rain made rivers rise, and water blocked roads to ten villages.

Some pilgrims visiting a fort called Gagron got stuck because of the high water.

Schools in the Jhalawar district were closed so children could stay safe.

Dams opened their gates to let extra water flow out and avoid breaking.

People were told to stay away from rivers because the water is moving fast.

Sadly, a young man was hit and killed by lightning while riding home on a motorcycle.

The government is watching the weather and helping people who need it.

Heavy rain is expected to continue for the next few days.
