IDP Boy's Suicide: Fourth Case in Manipur Relief Camps
A 13-year-old boy, who was forced to leave his home because of fighting, has died by suicide.
This happened in a shelter camp in Manipur, India.
Sadly, this is not a one-time event, but the fourth time in three months that a young person in a similar situation has taken their own life.
The boy's family had been living in the camp since conflicts broke out in 2023 between different groups.
The head of a child protection group is very worried and says that without help, more children in these camps may hurt themselves or get involved in bad things.
