India Warns Pakistan It Will Not Bow to Nuclear Blackmail

An Indian diplomat spoke at a United Nations meeting about security and nuclear weapons.

He said India would not let nuclear threats stop it from responding to terrorism.

He said India would hold both the people who support terrorist attacks and the people who plan them responsible.

He described Operation Sindoor as a limited response to an attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 civilians.

He said India’s nuclear capabilities are meant for defence.

He warned that using nuclear threats to shield terrorist activity could make a crisis more dangerous.

He also said India had paused the Indus Waters Treaty because, in India’s view, trust behind the agreement had been undermined.

He urged countries to be careful when sharing nuclear or military technology.
