Assam Police Seize Drugs Worth Rs 11 Cr, Arrest One Suspect
The police in Assam found a lot of illegal drugs in two different places in the Karbi Anglong district.
They found a powder called morphine and another drug called heroin.
The total amount of these drugs is worth more than 11 crore rupees!
They also caught one person who they think was selling these drugs.
The state's chief minister was happy with the police for doing such a good job stopping these drugs.
Assam police seized 1.959 kg of morphine and 414 g of heroin in two separate operations.
The total value of the seized drugs is estimated at Rs 11.19 crore.
One suspected drug peddler was arrested in connection with the seizures.
