Heavy Delhi Rain Causes Waterlogging, Red Alert, Flight Disruptions

Heavy rain fell in Delhi on Tuesday morning.

The rain caused large pools of water to form on roads.

This made it difficult for vehicles to move and created traffic jams.

The India Meteorological Department issued a red alert because the rain was intense.

Many flights at Delhi airport were affected.

One report said around 10 flights were cancelled, while another said 16 were cancelled.

Flight-tracking data said 123 flights were delayed.

The weather office said rain could continue for several hours.

It expected the rain to ease from Wednesday, although some clouds and possible showers could remain.
