25-Year-Old Delivers 4.8-Kg Baby Normally
A 25-year-old woman named K. Rupavathi had a very big baby, weighing 4.8 kg.
This is much bigger than usual babies.
She went to the hospital for check-ups for nine months.
The doctors thought they might need to do a special surgery called a C-section because the baby was so big.
But instead, they used a special method called Wood's screw maneuver.
After four hours of hard work, the baby was born normally.
Both the mom and the baby are healthy.
The health minister praised the doctors for their hard work.
The hospital where this happened does about 400 deliveries every month, and most of them are normal deliveries like this one.
K. Rupavathi, a 25-year-old woman, delivered a 4.8-kg baby normally on December 31 at Anakapalli hospital.
The doctors initially prepared for a C-section but successfully delivered the baby normally using the Wood's screw maneuver after four hours of labor.
The medical team included Dr. Sowjanya, Dr. Manasa, and nurses Jagadeswari, Kumari, and Saraswathi.
Both the mother and the baby are reported to be in good health.
Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav praised the doctors' efforts and encouraged normal deliveries.
