India to Lead Global Bodies in 2026

In 2026, India will lead two important global groups: the International IDEA, which helps countries have good democracies, and BRICS, a group of big countries like Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.

India has been a member of both groups for a long time but is taking the lead role now.

Some people have criticized India's democracy, but India says it's a strong and inclusive democracy.

As the leader of these groups, India wants to show the world how good its democracy is and help BRICS become a more united and positive group.

The US President, Donald Trump, has said that BRICS is against America, but India wants to make BRICS a group that works well with everyone.
