BJP Cites Indira Gandhi Archives in Rahul-Sandeep Remark Row
Some leaders in India said things that made other people upset.
The leaders are named Rahul Gandhi and Sandeep Dikshit.
A big political group called the BJP does not like what they said.
The BJP found old papers about Indira Gandhi, a famous leader from the past.
They used these papers to say that similar comments were okay before.
Rahul Gandhi and Sandeep Dikshit have not talked about the problem yet.
Some people think the comments were just a joke.
Other people think the comments were rude and wrong.
A news show called Newshour had a big discussion about it.
The conversation is still going on, and people cannot agree.
A political row has erupted over remarks made by Rahul Gandhi and Sandeep Dikshit, with the BJP launching a counterattack.
The BJP has cited references from the Indira Gandhi archives, asking why remarks once considered acceptable are now labelled problematic.
The Congress defence is that the comments were made on a 'lighter note.'
Both Rahul Gandhi and Sandeep Dikshit have remained silent amid the escalating political debate.
