Youth Congress Demands Minister's Resignation Over Aravalli Issue
The Youth Congress leader, Uday Bhanu Chib, is very upset with the Union Environment Minister, Bhupender Yadav.
He thinks the minister is trying to change the rules about the Aravalli hills to sell them.
The Supreme Court recently said the minister's plan was not good, and Chib is happy about that.
He wants the minister to quit his job and also wants the government to protect the Aravalli hills because they are very important for nature.
Chib also accused the BJP government of selling important things that were made by the Congress government in the past.
Youth Congress national president Uday Bhanu Chib demanded the resignation of Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav.
Chib alleged that a proposed redefinition of the Aravalli hills was aimed at eliminating the mountain range.
The Supreme Court's decision to put its earlier order on the Aravalli definition in abeyance was seen as a victory by Chib.
Chib accused the BJP government of selling off national resources and institutions created during the Congress rule.
Chib demanded that the central government declare the Aravalli mountain range an ecologically sensitive zone.
