Hazlewood Aims for Series Wins Before Test Retirement
Josh Hazlewood is a fast bowler from Australia who has played many Tests.
He wants to win series in England, India, and South Africa before he stops playing Tests.
He has missed several games because of injuries and because other bowlers are also in the team.
He hopes to play in at least 20 Tests before the 2027 World Test Championship final.
He also wants to bowl with his teammate Scott Boland, who has been doing very well.
If another bowler, Nathan Lyon, comes back from injury, either Hazlewood or Boland might miss the first Bangladesh Test.
Hazlewood said he is excited to play more with Boland and that they have a lot of differences in how they bowl.
Josh Hazlewood seeks series victories in England, India, and South Africa before retiring from Tests.
He has missed eight of Australia’s last 14 Tests due to injury and competition for spots.
Hazlewood plans to play in at least 20 Tests before the 2027 WTC final, including tours of India and England.
He looks forward to bowling alongside Scott Boland, who has been a strong performer.
With Nathan Lyon returning, Hazlewood or Boland may miss the opening Bangladesh Test in Darwin.
