BJP Executive Meet to Prioritize Andhra Development, Polavaram Project
The BJP is a big political party in India.
The party is having a big meeting in a city called Visakhapatnam.
The leader of the whole party, Nitin Nabin, is coming to the meeting for the first time since he became the leader.
At the meeting, the party will talk about how the state of Andhra Pradesh is growing.
They will talk about new investments and help the state gets from the central government.
They also want to finish a big water project called Polavaram, which will help bring water to farms.
The central government has promised to pay for the whole project.
The party also wants to win local elections, so they are asking their workers to get ready.
The leader will also meet about 250 young people to hear their ideas.
The BJP's extended State executive meeting will be held in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, presided over by national president Nitin Nabin on his first visit to the State since taking office.
A resolution will highlight Andhra Pradesh's development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, focusing on investments and development assistance from the Centre.
A second resolution will call for expediting irrigation projects, especially Polavaram, which the Centre has committed to fully finance.
The agenda includes grassroots expansion and preparations for local body elections, with State BJP president P.V.N. Madhav directing workers to ensure a 100% victory for the NDA.
The meeting will also discuss Rayalaseema industrial corridors, Central investments and infrastructure, and Nabin will interact with about 250 selected youngsters below age 25.
