JNTUH, Colleges Seek Solutions to Tier-II Placement Gaps

JNTUH, Colleges Seek Solutions to Tier-II Placement Gaps

JNTUH and 10 engineering colleges met to help students become more prepared for jobs.

They discussed the skills companies are looking for.

Colleges shared ideas about aptitude, technical, communication and soft-skills training.

They also talked about internships and preparing students for recruitment.

Some colleges have difficulty connecting with companies because they are in Tier-II cities.

Students also have different levels of preparation.

JNTUH described new learning and certification opportunities through Skillsoft, Coursera and Bajaj Auto’s CSR arm.

The colleges agreed that training methods should be adapted to each institution’s needs.
