Bangladesh Protests Demand Justice for Hadi
In Bangladesh, people are very upset about the killing of a young leader named Sharif Osman Hadi.
His party organized a big protest in Dhaka to demand justice.
They want the government to cancel work permits for Indians living in Bangladesh and to bring back the people they think killed Hadi, who they believe are hiding in India.
The protesters also want a quick and fair investigation into Hadi's death.
Hadi was a popular leader who was shot during an election campaign.
His death has caused a lot of political trouble in Bangladesh and has made the relationship with India worse.
Meanwhile, in another part of Bangladesh, business owners protested the killing of a Hindu trader, demanding that the killers be found and punished.
Protesters in Dhaka demanded justice for the killing of student leader Sharif Osman Hadi and the cancellation of Indian work permits.
Hadi was shot on December 12, 2024, during an election campaign and died on December 18.
The protest, organized by Hadi's party, Inqilab Moncho, called for the repatriation of alleged killers believed to be in India.
Indian authorities denied claims that Hadi's killers crossed into India, stating there is no evidence.
Inqilab Moncho rejected the police chargesheet in Hadi's murder case, accusing the state machinery of involvement.
