Uttarakhand Official Praises AP's 10-Minute Land Registration
A big official from Uttarakhand visited Andhra Pradesh to register some land.
He was very impressed because the whole process took only 10 minutes.
He said the system is very easy to use and transparent.
The official thinks other states should copy this system.
The Andhra Pradesh government has made it possible to register land at any office in the state, book appointments in advance, and use computers to make everything fast and fair.
The minister in charge said these changes have made the system much better.
Uttarakhand CEC B.V.R.S.C. Purushottam praised AP's land registration system for its speed and transparency.
The entire registration process took only 10 minutes at the Anandapuram sub-registrar office in Visakhapatnam.
Purushottam highlighted the slot-booking system and digital technology as key features of AP's system.
AP's system allows registration at any sub-registrar office across the state with advance slot booking.
Revenue minister Anagani Satya Prasad attributed the success to digital technology and transparency measures.
