Jalgaon Walkathon Calls for People-Led Water Conservation Movement

People in Jalgaon joined a walk to highlight the importance of saving water.

Gulabrao Patil said water conservation should not depend only on government programmes.

He asked families, students and officials to help save every drop.

Rainwater should be collected instead of being allowed to flow away.

This water can help refill the ground.

Patil said both rural and urban residents have an important role.

He especially encouraged young people to begin conservation at home.
