Indore Shuts Gajak Factory Over Unhygienic Conditions
In Indore, a factory that makes gajak (a sweet made from sesame and peanuts) was closed because it was very dirty and didn't have the right license.
The food safety team found this during a surprise check.
They also took samples from other food places to test.
The samples were sent to a lab in Bhopal to check if the food is safe.
The officials want to make sure that the food people eat is clean and safe.
A gajak factory in Indore's Khatipura area was shut down for unhygienic conditions and lack of a valid food license.
Samples of jaggery, sesame gajak, and peanut products were collected for testing.
Another food unit, Ganbhog Foods, was inspected, and samples of rajgira and sesame laddoos were sent for testing.
Samples of paneer, rice, and flour were taken from Moti Mahal Delux restaurant at Phoenix Citadel Mall.
All samples have been sent to the state food testing laboratory in Bhopal for further action.
