Gen V Season 2 Review: Mixed Reception for 'The Boys' Spinoff
The second season of Gen V, a show about young superheroes, is out.
While entertaining, some say it's not as good as the first season.
A new headmaster shakes things up.
The show is still gory and funny, but it feels less original.
The acting is praised, especially Hamish Linklater, playing a charming yet dangerous character, and Jaz Sinclair.
Some of the characters are less interesting, and the absence of another character is felt.
Overall, it's watchable but misses the freshness of the first season.
Season 2 of Gen V is a follow-up to The Boys series.
Hamish Linklater's performance as Dean Cipher is highlighted.
Jaz Sinclair's performance as Marie Moreau is also praised.
The show's humor and gore continue to be present.
The season is considered less fresh and original than the first.
