Indian Man Charged in 2017 US Double Murder via DNA from Laptop
An Indian man, Nazeer Hameed, has been accused of killing an Indian woman, Sasikala Narra, and her son, Anish, in the US in 2017.
DNA from Hameed's work laptop linked him to the crime.
He's now wanted in the US for trial, but he's still in India.
Nazeer Hameed, an Indian national and former colleague of the victim's husband, has been charged with the 2017 murders of Sasikala Narra and her son Anish in New Jersey
DNA from Hameed's company-issued laptop matched a blood droplet found at the crime scene, leading to the charges
Hameed had previously been accused of stalking Hanu Narra, Sasikala's husband, and lived near the victims' home before moving to India
The motive behind the killings is still unknown, and Hameed has not been arrested yet as he remains in India
US authorities are seeking Hameed's extradition to face charges
