Jana Nayagan Postponed Due to Certification Delays
Vijay's movie Jana Nayagan, which was supposed to come out on January 9, 2026, has been postponed.
The reason is that the people who give movies certificates (like a permission slip) have delayed giving it to Jana Nayagan.
The movie makers are upset because they think the delay is not fair.
They even went to court to try and fix it, but the court hasn't decided yet.
The movie is special because it's believed to be Vijay's last movie before he focuses on politics.
The makers promise to tell everyone the new release date soon.
Jana Nayagan, Vijay's final film before his political shift, has been postponed due to certification delays.
The film was scheduled to release on January 9, 2026, but the Central Board of Film Certification paused the certification process.
Producers moved to the High Court over the delays, but the verdict is still pending.
KVN Productions issued a statement expressing disappointment and promised to announce a new release date soon.
The film is widely regarded as Vijay's last cinematic outing before his full-time political plunge.
