McDonald's to Close CosMc's Locations, Adds Drinks to Menu
McDonald's, the big burger company, is closing all of its CosMc's stores, which were like mini-restaurants focused just on drinks.
These stores opened in 2023 to try out new, fancy drinks and learn how to make them.
Although the standalone stores are shutting down, McDonald's will bring some of the special CosMc's drinks to hundreds of regular McDonald's locations.
This way, more people can try the new drinks.
McDonald's wants to sell more drinks because they can make more money on them, and they are also creating a special team to focus just on new drink ideas.
The CosMc's app will also stop working soon.
McDonald's will close all five CosMc's standalone stores by late June.
CosMc's was a beverage-focused spinoff launched in 2023.

CosMc's-inspired drinks will be added to hundreds of McDonald's locations.
