Wipro Executives: Premji’s Pay Doubles, Pallia's Earnings Revealed
Imagine a company called Wipro.
The boss, Rishad Premji, got a big raise, almost doubling his pay to about $1.6 million!
However, the new CEO, Srinivas Pallia, made even more, around $6.2 million.
This is because the company did well, making more profit.
Premji's pay went up because he gets a share of the profits, too.
Pallia's salary is less than what the previous CEO earned.
He also got stock options, which means he could get more money later if the company does even better.
The boss and the CEO also get a cut of the profits.
Rishad Premji's pay more than doubled to $1.6 million in FY25.
Srinivas Pallia, the CEO, earned $6.2 million in FY25.
Pallia's salary included $1.7 million in salary and allowances.
Premji and Pallia are entitled to a commission on the company's net profits.
Pallia was granted over 1.6 million stock options.
