Vedanta and REC Report Q3 2025 Results
Vedanta, a big mining company, made a lot of money in the third quarter of 2025.
They earned ₹5,710 crore in profit, which is a lot more than last year.
Their revenue also went up by 16.9%.
Another company, REC, which lends money for power projects, made a little more profit than last year but not as much as in the previous quarter.
They also announced they will give some of their profits back to their shareholders as dividends.
Reliance Power, led by Anil Ambani, reported a profit of ₹41.95 crore for Q3FY25, a significant improvement from a loss in the same period last year.
However, their revenue declined by 4.6% compared to the previous year.
Both Vedanta and REC are doing well, but Vedanta had a bigger increase in profits.
Vedanta reported a 60.9% increase in profit to ₹5,710 crore for Q3 2025, with revenue rising 16.9% to ₹23,369 crore.
REC reported a modest 0.35% increase in net profit to ₹4,043 crore, with revenue up 5.3% to ₹14,910.88 crore.
Vedanta's EBITDA surged 37% to ₹6,866 crore, with a stable EBITDA margin of 29.4%.
REC declared a third interim dividend of 46%, amounting to ₹4.60 per equity share, with improved asset quality indicators.
Reliance Power reported a profit of ₹41.95 crore for Q3FY25, a significant improvement from a loss of ₹1,136.75 crore in Q3FY24, but revenue declined by 4.6% to ₹1,852 crore.
