It's the first one in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The trains are super modern with features like real-time tracking and easy ticketing.
This new metro has a short route right now, but it's planned to get much bigger, with more stations and longer tracks in the future.
It will make it easier for people to get around and should help with traffic and pollution.
For the first week, it's free to ride!
This is exciting because it's the 24th city in India to have a metro, showing that the government is investing in better transportation.
