INOX Clean Energy Proposes Rs 10,000 Crore IPO

Inox Clean Energy wants to raise money through a very large IPO.

An IPO is when a company offers shares to the public for the first time.

The proposed IPO could be worth Rs 10,000 crore.

Most of the money, up to Rs 8,000 crore, would come from new shares.

Existing shareholders could sell shares worth up to Rs 2,000 crore.

The company works in renewable electricity and solar manufacturing.

Its operations cover India, Africa and other international markets.

The proposal came during a month when many Indian companies filed plans to go public, even though major stock-market indexes fell.
