Kerala’s Coastal Forests Saved by Private Purchases

Some organizations wanted to save the forests and mangroves along the coast of Kerala, India.

They bought the land where these forests are located to protect them better.

The organizations involved are World Land Trust, Apollo Tyres, International Fund for Animal Welfare, and Wildlife Trust of India.

They bought 37.16 acres of land to make sure the forests stay safe.

This is a special way to protect nature by buying the land privately.
