LIC Launches Two-Month Revival Campaign
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has started a special campaign to help people revive their lapsed insurance policies.
This campaign runs from January 1 to March 2, 2026.
During this time, people can get up to a 30% waiver on late fees, with a maximum of Rs 5,000.
For micro insurance policies, there is a full waiver of late fees.
This campaign is for policies that have lapsed during the time when premiums were supposed to be paid.
It's a good chance for people to get their insurance back without paying the full late fees.
However, there are no changes in medical or health requirements for revival.
