Teacher Aspirants’ Hunger Strike Draws Congress Pressure in Madhya Pradesh

Teacher-job candidates in Madhya Pradesh are protesting in Bhopal.

They want the government to announce more teacher positions.

They are asking for 10,000 more Class-2 posts and 25,000 more Class-3 posts.

The candidates say many qualified people were not selected.

They have been fasting for three days and some are reportedly in poor health.

A medical team was expected to examine them.

Congress leaders Umang Singhar and Jitu Patwari supported the protesters.

The candidates say they will continue until the government gives them a clear answer.
