Police Seize ₹28.5 Crore Cash, 15 kg Gold from Minar Mondal’s Home

Police in West Bengal found a huge stash of money and gold in a house.

They started the search after catching seven people who might have stolen things.

The house belonged to Minar Mondal, who used to drive a bus and now works with a stone‑quarry owner named Tulu Mondal.

The police counted the money and found it was worth about 28.5 crore rupees, and the gold was worth about 20 to 21.5 crore rupees.

They think the money and gold might come from a crime group.

Minar Mondal was taken to the police station and will go to court soon.
