Kolkata Police Orders New Sirens for Emergency Response
The Kolkata Police are getting new sirens!
They're installing 18 of them in different police stations to help alert people in case of an emergency.
These sirens are like loud alarms that can be heard from far away.
The police decided to get them because they are important for emergencies.
The sirens will be part of the existing emergency system, and the police will also teach people what the different siren sounds mean.
This is part of a bigger plan to make sure the police can respond quickly and efficiently when something happens.
Kolkata Police will install 18 new sirens across various police stations.
The sirens are electronically operated with a 400-500 meter range.
The initiative follows a directive from the Union home ministry.
