Sikar Launches District-Wide CPR Training Initiative
In Sikar, Rajasthan, a big training program was held to teach CPR to teachers and physical training instructors.
Over 1,500 teachers from 807 government schools were trained in CPR over two weeks.
The goal is for these teachers to then teach CPR to their students, making sure that more people know how to save lives in emergencies.
Each school got a CPR mannequin to keep practicing.
The idea is to make sure that by 2047, many young people in India will know CPR and be ready to help in emergencies.
Dr. V.K. Jain trained 1,500 PTIs and Science Teachers in CPR across 807 government schools in Sikar, Rajasthan.
The initiative aims to create a sustainable model for lifesaving education in every government school.
Training was conducted across all educational clusters to ensure accessibility and minimal travel for participants.
Each participating school received a CPR feedback mannequin for ongoing training.
The vision is to equip every student with CPR skills, aiming for 40 crore trained citizens by 2047.
