World Tourism Day Highlights Warangal’s Kakatiya Heritage and Tourism Plans

World Tourism Day was celebrated at Fort Warangal.

Leaders said Warangal has important buildings and stories from the Kakatiya Empire.

They want to protect old temples and monuments so future generations can learn about them.

They also want to improve hotels, transport, parking and other facilities for visitors.

Plans include boating around the fort’s moats and developing more tourism activities.

Officials said places such as Ramappa, Laknavaram and Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary could attract more visitors.

Technology, including Artificial Intelligence, may help explain the region’s history and architecture.

Schools will create Youth Tourism Clubs to teach students about local heritage.

The overall goal is to make Warangal a leading tourism destination after Hyderabad.
