Kashmir Hosts ATOAI Convention to Revive Tourism
A big meeting is happening in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, to talk about how to bring back tourists to the beautiful valley.
This meeting is called the 17th Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) convention.
It's a four-day event where people who love adventure and travel from all over India are coming together.
The main goal is to make a plan to bring back tourists after a scary event in Pahalgam earlier this year.
The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, is very happy that this meeting is happening in Srinagar.
He says that Jammu and Kashmir is very important for adventure tourism in India.
People will also go trekking in places that were closed after the scary event.
The mascot of this meeting is the Kashmir stag, also known as Hangul, which represents courage and strength.
The Chief Minister also talked about using artificial snow to make skiing possible for a longer time and to help with the problems caused by climate change.
The organizers hope that this meeting will help make Kashmir safe and attractive for tourists again.
