Eko Shows Resurgence in 2nd Weekend

Eko is a Malayalam thriller film that is the final part of the Animal trilogy.

It was released on November 21 and had a good start, collecting ₹11.65 crore in its first week.

After a drop in collections during the weekdays, the movie showed a big jump in its second Friday, earning ₹1.45 crore.

This brought its total collection to ₹13.1 crore in 8 days.

The film is directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and stars Sandeep Pradeep, Vineeth, Narain, Binu Pappu, and Biana Momin.

The story is set in the misty hills of Kaattukunnu and follows characters struggling to survive while dealing with the legend of Kuriyachan, a businessman and outlaw.

The film was shot in under two months and is expected to do well, similar to Ayyathan's previous film, Kishkindha Kaandam, which became a blockbuster despite a modest start.
