Britain warns Iran against hostile activity on UK soil

Britain told Iran that it will not accept threats or attacks connected to Iran inside Britain.

Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband gave this message to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

They met in New York during the United Nations General Assembly.

They also talked about the war in the Middle East and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Britain recently banned support for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a related group.

The ban followed a series of antisemitic attacks.

British officials also said Iranian state-linked hackers used spyware to steal sensitive information.

Iran has denied using proxy groups, and the report did not say how its foreign minister responded.
