Bengal Man Arrested in Karnataka Voter Deletion Probe

Police in Karnataka are investigating a case where someone tried to remove many voters' names from the election list in the Aland area.

They arrested a 27-year-old man from West Bengal who is accused of making these deletion requests.

Some politicians believe these requests were aimed at removing votes from minority and backward communities.

Following complaints, election officials were ordered to keep the voter lists as they were.

The police arrested the man after finding a connection between his bank account and the alleged actions.
