Rajesh Sharma Denies Insect Bite Caused Hospitalisation on Fauzi Set
Rajesh Sharma became seriously ill while working on a movie.
An earlier statement said an insect or poisonous spider might have bitten him during filming.
Sharma later said that explanation was false.
He said he already had a skin problem on his right leg.
That problem turned into an infection.
He said his diabetes was not under control, which made the illness worse.
Sharma said nothing bad happened on Prabhas’s movie set and that the film team was not responsible.
He was admitted to Manipal Hospital in Kolkata after returning from Hyderabad.
He has finished treatment and hopes to start working again soon.
Rajesh Sharma said a long-standing right-leg skin problem, not an insect bite, caused his hospitalisation.
He said the infection worsened after his diabetes levels became very high.
Sharma said nothing happened on Prabhas’s Fauzi set in Hyderabad and defended the actor and production unit.
An earlier statement from Sudipa Chatterjee’s side attributed the illness to a possible bug or poisonous spider bite at Ramoji Film City.
Sharma said he has completed treatment, is recovering, and expects to return to work within a week.
