Telangana to Construct Over 5,000 km of HAM Roads
The Telangana government is launching a major project to improve roads across the state.
They plan to build over 5,000 km of roads using the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).
Under this plan, the government will provide some of the money, and contractors will supply the rest.
This helps make sure the roads are built well and maintained for a long time.
The aim is to link every village, mandal, and district to make travel easier.
Contractors will also maintain the roads for 15 years.
Telangana will construct 5,190 km of roads under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).
The R&B Department will oversee the first phase of 5,190 km across 17 packages.
The Panchayat Raj Engineering Department will manage 7,947 km of roads.
